I’ve spent the last 40 years seeking. With a catholic upbringing, I had basic Christian values and perspectives. The questions that took me far afield were the regular ones at first. I “fell away” and sought meaning from other perspectives. Many make sense, but all fell equally short of my goal, which is “WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?”.
I believe that in paradise, before the fall, we experienced our connectedness on a conscious level. Everything we needed and wanted was provided by the law of attraction. After Eve ate the apple and convinced Adam to do also (women are more amenable to change), our perspective was altered. The pain and suffering that ensued thereafter might be the result of this new perspective (knowledge of good and evil) as opposed to God’s punishment for “eating the apple”.
My purpose here is to open discussion concerning this revelation, and how the giving up of the “knowledge of good and evil” could be the very “salvation” we are hoping to accomplish.
Also, my desire for discussion is not satisfied or even tolerated where I live. Four of my favorite people have told me in so many words that they are not interested in such discussions. One even said I make her exhausted.
